1. About the Site
The Site is a personal website operated by Lourens Weyer ("I", "me"). It exists to share information about my businesses, writing, podcast, and socials. It is not a commercial product, and it is not the official website of any of the individual businesses referenced on it — each of those has its own domain.
2. Content and intellectual property
Unless noted otherwise, all content on the Site — including text, layout, design, and code — is © Lourens Weyer. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link back. You may not re-publish the Site or substantial portions of it, mirror it, or use it to train machine learning models on a commercial basis without written permission.
Third-party marks (logos, product names, etc.) remain the property of their respective owners.
3. Outbound links
The Site links to external websites, including my own businesses and social profiles, as well as third-party platforms. I'm not responsible for the content, policies, or availability of any external site.
4. No professional advice
Content on the Site is for general information only. It is not legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. Decisions you make based on the Site are your own.
5. Acceptable use
When using the Site (including the contact form), you agree not to:
- Submit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or misleading content.
- Attempt to interfere with the Site's security or availability (e.g. injection, scraping at abusive rates, denial-of-service).
- Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
